Here are some financing sources that my customers have used in the past. They are provided as a courtesy to you so you can have a starting point as you begin the home buying process. Most of them can pre-qualify you over the phone. I cannot make any guarantees concerning their work since they are separate entities and have no official connection with our office. Also be aware that I do not receive any compensation from any lender whose services you may choose to use. However, it is always a good idea to shop around for the best deal for your situation, and these companies can be good places to begin. It is also a good idea to check with the banks or credit unions where you currently maintain accounts. Often friends and family members can recommend good sources of financing. You can also check out financing providers with the local Better Business Bureau by clicking on the following link: http://www.bbbwestflorida.org/ You are not required to use any specific lender. The final choice is completely yours!
Ask lots of questions, and compare costs and services. Lenders are required to give you a Good Faith Estimate within 3 days after receiving your application. Be sure they give it to you! Communicate often with your lender. Make sure that you know what you are getting, and that the terms have not changed from what you believe they should be. It is never a good situation to get to the closing table and find out at the last minute that the terms of your loan are not what you thought they would be. If you are comfortable with your choice, then I am sure I will be too!
